Not too much at Icy Strait. It is a fishing village
and cannery. The town is also called Hoonah, Alaska.
We needed to take the tenders to shore.
They do have a long zip line. It starts just
under the peak on the left. It is 1300 feet to
the bottom of the hill and 1 mile long.
There are 6 lines.
It sounded like fun! We timed the riders.
It took 1 minute to come down the zip line.
It was $129 per trip down.
Here are the springs at the end that
stop the riders.
We didn't see any bear. But they assured us they were all around.
We did see several eagles.
